It’s not every day that you get the opportunity to have a direct line of communication with the policymakers shaping the future of our country. That day came for me when I was invited to HM Treasury to discuss a pivotal report – ‘Tech Tonic‘.
at the Forefront
Put together by the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses), the ‘Tech Tonic’ report offers critical policy updates aimed at fostering a more vibrant and resilient tech ecosystem in the UK.
With small businesses playing an increasingly vital role in the modern economy, recommendations from such reports hold significant weight in ensuring a forward-looking legislative framework that supports small companies delivering technology and innovation.
While the ‘Tech Tonic’ report lays a foundation, it’s the collective effort of policymakers, business leaders and industry stakeholders that will determine the trajectory of the tech sector in the UK.
Guiding Policy Making in the UK
In an esteemed meeting room inside the HM Treasury, I had the privilege to discuss the report’s insights and implications with Gareth Davies MP. This was not just a conversation about policies, but a comprehensive discussion about the aspirations and challenges of small tech businesses in the current landscape.
